Getting To The Fair
Cambridge benefits from frequent trains to and from London via the King's Cross and Liverpool Street stations which are 50 and 60 minute journeys respectively. There is also a direct train from London Stansted Airport which takes approximately 30 minutes. For further enquiries call the National Rail Enquiries Helpline (24 Hour) on 08457 48 49 50.
The Guildhall is approximately a 20 minute walk from the train station. Upon leaving the station go straight down Station Road and turn right onto Hills Road. Continue straight across onto Regent Street. Turn left onto Sydney Street and then left again onto Petty Cury. Keep going until you reach the Market Square.
The city is easily accessible by car, via the M11, A11 and A14. For parking options, see below.

There are several city centre car parks available but we would recommend the excellent park and ride facilities, particularly if you are unfamiliar with the city. If you decide to drive in to the city centre the nearest car parks to the Guildhall are as follows:
Grand Arcade- virtually next door so just a couple of minutes walk away. Click here for more information.
Park Street- this is no more than a 5 or 10 minute walk. Just follow the tourists! Click here for more information.
Queen Anne- slightly further away on Gonville Place but a lovely walk across Parker's Piece. Click here for more information.
You can see all of the city centre car parks on the car parking map at the main Cambridge City Council website. Click here for more information.
