We are pleased to announce that Cambridge Literary Festival will be our event partner for the second year running. Founded in 2003, Cambridge Literary Festival is an important part of the city’s cultural calendar. Every Spring and Winter they invite us to join them in venues in the city's historic centre to engage with the newest fiction, cutting edge commentary and science, children's events and lots more.
The next festival will take place Tuesday 14th – Sunday 19th April 2015. 111 speakers across 4 venues over 6 days!
The full programme is now available online.
We are proud to announce that AccessArt will be our charity partner for the second year in a row. AccessArt is a UK Charity directed by Paula Briggs and Sheila Ceccerelli. Their aim is simple - to inspire and enable high quality visual arts teaching, learning and practice!
The AccessArt team consists of creative professionals and practitioners, educators, designers and crucially the learners themselves. They work in partnership with a number of institutions and organisations, ranging from schools, museums & galleries through to umbrella and advocacy groups.

Do you like to be photographed? Are you an aspiring model with a need to create or add to your portfolio? Do you want to be the 'face' of Cambridge Art Fair?
We need volunteer models for the photoshoot for our new marketing campaign. We will pay travelling expenses to and from the location. We will also give you digital copies of the photos we take of you and grant permission to use the images for portfolio purposes. We will also give you a batch of free entry tickets to the art fair in October to share with your friends and family.
Ages are a guideline only. We will be looking for models that can demonstrate a wide range of facial expressions.
If you are interested in taking part, please click here to email Marlo and attach at least one recent head shot and body shot as well as your contact details and availability over the next 3-4 weeks.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Established in 1989, Lynne Strover Gallery has earned its place as one of the UK’s leading provincial British Contemporary Art Galleries.
“There was no art in the house I grew up in, there was no bathroom either. I failed my art exams so when the gallery opened its doors 25 years ago it must have been destiny. I can think of no other reason. All consuming, impossible and exhilarating at the same time it soon became a way of life, a thrilling journey that I couldn’t have done on my own.”
Lynne has consistently curated diverse, hand-picked exhibitions, showcasing talent from across the British Isles. Her unique style and eclectic taste means she has played a part in helping many Cantabrigians adorn their walls with incredible and timeless pieces, and she continues to do so in 2015.
The Gallery forms part of a 19 century National School which was converted into a house and showroom in the 1970’s. It sits in the centre of the picturesque historic village high street between the popular Ancient Shepherds public house and the Church of St Mary the Virgin, first recorded in 1217.
Alterations to the building in the 1990’s created light and airy spaces ideal for showing contemporary paintings and sculpture in an intimate domestic setting.
Lynne Strover Gallery can be found on Stand C4a in the Large Hall at the 3rd edition of the Cambridge City Art Fair.
