We're very happy to be welcoming back Tom & Christine from Yorkshire-based COLOURBOX to Cambridge Art Fair 2017. This is the third year running that they will be participating and we are sure their stand will be just as popular as ever.
Tom and Christine run their gallery, COLOURBOX, from their base in Yorkshire. You are welcome to visit them any time to view current works in their studio on an appointment basis. However, the principal focus of COLOURBOX is as a platform to show their own and other UK based artists' work at selected art fairs in the UK.
Find Tom & Christine in their usual spot, on Stand A1 in the Large Hall.
We are proud to announce that Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT) is our Charity Partner for 2017. ACT is dedicated to supporting innovation in patient care across Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals.
Whether it's treatment for an emergency, acute condition, pregnancy or long term illness, ACT believes that every patient deserves the highest quality of care available.
The hospitals have earned the reputation of being among the world's best academic healthcare organisations, and ACT's aim is to support those achievements by raising funds for cutting edge technology, additional specialist staff, environmental enhancements and extra comforts for patients that make all the difference over and above what is possible with NHS funding alone.
They also provide seed funding for early stage research projects, supporting the hospitals' clinical academics keen to embark on a research career. This funding then often leverages more ambitious research funding opportunities, and as such can be an essential component in identifying global cures and advances in treatment.
We look forward to working with Samantha and the ACT team over the coming months.
We are very pleased to announce that Jim Woodman Fine Art will be returning to Cambridge Art Fair for the second year running in 2017. Jim Woodman Fine Art is a virtual gallery which was set up by Jim Woodman to show the work of a small group of artists at art fairs such as Cambridge & Edinburgh Art Fair.
A painter himself, Jim has selected artists offering a wide diversity of work from the calm life studies of Angela Kilenyi painted in watercolour, to the vibrant energetic seascapes of Beverley Waller. Jim brings together the work of artists from London and the southeast with those from the northwest of Scotland - reflecting his own lifestyle, working as he does in both locations. Offering something for all tastes from the very contemporary to traditional.
The artists are all professional painters with well deserved reputations in the area where they work and who exhibit regularly in solo and group shows - each of the artists work can be viewed on this site together with a link in each case to their own website.
Find Jim Woodman Fine Art on Stand A5 in the Large Hall, the same spot as last year.
