First Contemporary (based in Bristol) showcases international artists, representing some of the most diverse and talented in contemporary painting. They specialize in showing the up and coming stars of the future, artists with a strong sense of individuality, exhibiting them alongside more established names, such as Maurice Tan (image below).
First Contemporary will be on Stands 46, 47 and 48 in the large hall.
We are very pleased to announce that Hotel Du Vin in Trumpington Street, Cambridge is sponsoring Cambridge City Art Fair 2013. This beautiful hotel in Cambridge city centre was a former University-owned building which has been transformed to enhance its many quirky architectural features. Forty one bedrooms and suites, some with private terraces, have been carved out of the building, alongside their trademark bistro (shown below) with the first Hotel du Vin open-style kitchen and curiously labyrinthine cellar bar. Dating back in part to medieval times, Hotel du Vin Cambridge boasts a cosy library, private events room perfect for special occasions, meetings and events. The bistro and bar are available for residents, locals and visitors alike at Hotel du Vin & Bistro Cambridge.
The Darryl Nantais Gallery (based in Linton, Cambridgeshire) represents a range of Artists with varying styles and subjects, ranging from traditional to contemporary landscapes, seacapes, flowers and animals as well as abstract work using mixed media including beads, silk and gold leaf. In addition, they show sculpture, glassware, mirrors, pottery and prints. Local Artists such as Tina Bone (image below) are also represented.
The Darryl Nantais Gallery will be on Stand 18 in the large hall.
Lilford Gallery (based in the beautiful city of Canterbury) shows the work of new, up and coming and internationally renowned artists in their gallery space. They have 3 floors with an impressively eclectic range of artwork, sculpture and jewellery, including work by the Cambridge-based and internationally renowned Sculptor Laurence Broderick (image below).
Lilford Gallery will be on Stands 4 and 5 in the small hall.
