Based in London, Manning Fine Art Limited specialise in British Art. They stock Modern British Art – both originals and prints, Original Vintage Posters, Architectural Drawings, and artworks of Oxford and Cambridge from the 17th Century onwards – this latter category spanning all other categories.
James Manning was an undergraduate at St. John’s College, Cambridge and latterly studied at St Edmund’s College, Cambridge. Inspired by his collegiate architectural surroundings James bought his first artwork; a Loggan print of Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge.
Now based in a Victorian Gothic house in London James’s interest in Architectural drawings now includes Victorian and 20th century architecture. His enthusiasm for history and eye for striking compositions has led him to collect important vintage posters.
Claire Richards read Art History at Christie’s Education and the University of Glasgow where she specialised in topographical art, architectural drawings and technical art history. Claire has worked at the Fleming Collection, Bonhams and the Serpentine Gallery.
You will find Manning Fine Art on Stand F3 in the small hall.
