The VIP Reception at Hotel Du Vin on 17th September went really well and we were pleased to welcome many interesting people, some connected with the fair and others from in and around the city. Our sincere thanks to all those who attended, including (but not limited to)- the Mayor of Cambridge (Cllr Paul Saunders), Antoinette Jackson (Chief Executive of Cambridge City Council), Andrew Nairne (Director Of Kettle's Yard), Louise Cummings (Editor of Style Magazine and The Cambridge Magazine), Stuart Hay (Head of Commercial Business at Addenbrookes Hospital) and Caroline Biggs (Organiser of EAT Cambridge).
We were also very pleased to see so many exhibitors at the event- Richard Chapman of Sheridan Russell, Aleksandra and Lyndon Ristic of Fine Art Escape, Rowan and Liz Yorath of Woodbine Contemporary drove down from Leicestershire, Ros Clevelly from Byard Art, Kathryn Bell from Fine Art Consultancy came all the way from London, Marlo Gilbert from Blue Contemporary, Stephen Edwards from Lime Tree Gallery came from Bristol and Sara Horncastle came from the newly opened Saffron Walden Gallery and booked a stand at the Reception!
It was lovely to spend time with some of the artists that will be featured at the fair in November too, such as- Sarah Dodkin Rush from Soham, Laurence Broderick from Waresely and John Lyons from Littleport. We were also joined by the lovely Cambridge Sculptor Mel Fraser and her daughter Ros.
Huge thanks also to Aimee and the team at Hotel Du Vin for making our VIP Reception such a wonderful event. We would highly recommend Hotel Du Vin for a function of any kind.
